The history of Plastic World Solutions GmbH
2017
In 2017, Plastic World Solutions GmbH was founded by Dipl.-Ing. Dmitrij Schmiegel and Dr. Thomas Unger and began its journey as a consulting company for plastics companies in the fields of process engineering, plant engineering and materials. From the very beginning, the company has strived to offer industry-leading solutions and establish expertise in the sector.
2018
In 2018, Plastic World Solutions took an important step by founding the subsidiary PWS Innovation Ltd. in Ukraine. This new branch focused on the commercial representation of renowned German and Italian mechanical engineering companies such as Leistritz Extrusionstechnik GmbH from Nuremberg, Bandera from Venegono and other well-known brands.
2020
By 2010, Plastic World Solutions had expanded its field of activity and signed several commercial representations for CIS countries, including major partnerships with Diamat Maschinenbau GmbH, COLLIN, Lab & Pilot Solutions GmbH and Bandera.
In 2020, the company recorded another milestone with the move to its current office in Martin-Richter-Straße. This move marked a phase of growth and expansion of operational capacity.
2022
The turning point came in 2022, when the company initiated the development of its own sales platform to offer products for various industries. From construction and packaging materials to workshop and industrial supplies to products for the home and garden - Plastic World Solutions' range was continuously expanded. In addition to the company's own platform, the company also began selling via well-known platforms such as Amazon and eBay.
2022 Trademark registration
At the beginning of January, the "PLASTICWORLDSOLUTIONS" brand was registered throughout Europe, marking a milestone in the company's development.
Schedule for 2024
In preparation for the future, Plastic World Solutions plans to establish subsidiaries in Uzbekistan, Tashkent and the United Arab Emirates, Dubai in 2024. This expansion underlines the company's commitment to international growth and the provision of high-quality solutions worldwide.
Today
Today, the company continues to focus on three main areas: Business consulting, online sales and the distribution of high-quality machines.
Plastic World Solutions employs 4 dedicated employees in Germany and has built up a team of 3 employees in Ukraine. These talented teams are working together to take the company forward.
